I dial the guy, he answers, and I say, "Is this Richard Head?" He replies, "Yes it is. Please call me dick." I start laughing so hard I nearly pee my pants. Having the others around made it much worse. 15 minutes later I call Dick back from a more private phone. "I don't know what happened ... our switchboard must've cut me off!"
    I would, too, burst into laughter. Amazing!!

I had a friend and a colleague from University. And his mum was called "Cica"...hmm, it's hard to translate...but like a "boob" :)
The same thing, I asked him...how should I call your mum, he said "boob", everyone was calling her like that...no way, I just couldn't.
I would probably have every time in front of my eyes a giant boob from Woody Allen's Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask :)))

I'll be very interested in this. I've been intrigued with this amp ever since I happened to stumble upon it on the internet. And have always been intrigued with the brand. The 433 price point is very attractive, has the MK pedigree, trickle-down technology and fully balanced. The only thing that gave me a bit of pause was in the description it mentioned being made primarily with dynamics HPs in mind, and max power output is 1.2w. But your earlier comments sound promising for planars.

There is a small thread on this amp elsewhere here, but not a lot of info or comments. Hopefully more can be said and reported on this amp. Especially if it sounds good with D8000 and other planars.
I've tried the Caldera Closed, D8KPLE, Meze Elite, HFM HEK1000SE, HEK1000v2 (original) and Arya Organic with it. They all sound great from it.

Has been 1 week with D8KPro LE, during that time a Holo May also joined the fold.

All I want to say is that I have found that additional 15-20% from these additions.
Previous combo was He1000Se + Pontus II, so no slouch.

D8KPro LE is worth it.

Ah, OK...another Serbian gem :) I have Auris. I am very curious about your impressions!

Cheers!
Wow I didn't even know about Trafomatic. Funny how mainstream amps distract and take away attention. I have to find local dealer they don't have it on website :)

I had to google around to find the translation. Pretty strange name for an amp!
Yeah. It derives from Norse mythology. Definitely has the Schiit theme. Lol.

A question. What would be a reasonable price for a D8K pro? I have a pair that I am trying to sell but not getting much offers.
Your price is already great. The problem is that D8Kpro is a sleeper TOTL, everyone who got one loves it, and the people who never had one will only consider Susvara and 1266. Also the market is kinda down in general. My friend couldn't sell his Empyrean for more than 1.3k recently, that's tough.

Let’s not forget to tally in how many hands it’s passed down from.

I’m currently selling my pair for a lower price since I realize the condition isn’t perfect.

I would’ve actually kept them if I didn’t buy some speakers that I listen to more.

The D8kP have incredible range.
The bass is especially delicious with my Cayin HA3 with NOS RCA tubes.

Slamming, dynamic and resolution. I think that sums up the presentation of the Final.
When I put them on I always think these can’t go… I didn’t realize I’d prefer my speakers.

The tally of number of previous owners besides me is at most 2 as far as I'm aware, and the condition themselves are great as far as I can see. Though I am similarly in the same situation where I'll soon have too many headphones and need to whittle down numbers to fund those purchases, otherwise I would keep them.

Which is a darn shame. I owned a Sus and a TC, sold them both, kept the Final.

Price very much depends on condition/age/number of owners. Market is tough these days. About a couple of years ago I was only able to sell my D8K og for £1600 ($2000) after like 8 weeks of advertising. I would say, og goes between £1500-£1900 ($1800-$2300) and pro between £1700-£2200 ($2100-$2600) these days. If you are willing to wait.
