Hello guys! I have a quick question regarding FiiO Q7.
As I understand - I can use it as a DAC-only with standalone amplifier? Just need 4.4 to 2 XLR cable for balance connection and 6.3 to 2 RCA for unbalance one? And switching on LO(Line out) output in settings + fixed volume of cause.
Does anybody have such experience?

I am thinking about buying desktop amp and DAC and wanted to start from amp and using Q7 as DAC for first months.

Exactly. Sound quality is also great.

Hi, yes. And the PO/LO setting could be adjusted for balanced and single end output separately. The LO volume could be adjustable or fixed according to your setting.

Good evening! I had a K9 PRO ESS, I really liked it, especially how it works with iem. But due to certain circumstances, I can't use it now. And I want to purchase a Q7. Since I sometimes need to take the device with me for work, and it's not convenient to take the k9 pro with me. According to various reviews, I concluded that the Q7 is a kind of analogue in terms of sound level and tonal tuning of the K9 PRO ESS. Is it so? Maybe someone compared it head-on? I'm going to use the Q7 at home only in hospital mode with a power supply. I also want to purchase a PL50 power supply.
