Thanks for the response. I don't have an amp for DAVE, purposefully so. It is kinda hard to pick something that doesn't colour DAVE's sound signature too much and doesn't take away from its transparency.

Danacables 2.5mm connectors fit snug. I actually like my Danacable Rhapsody cable better then my Super Conductor cable.

Since then have not heard a single thing, have emailed twice to - warranty@abyss-headphones.com - with no reply at all. Its meant to take 2-4 weeks, has anyone been able to successfully claim the 10 year warranty yet?

They have said that if it’s purchased direct from them you automatically get the 10 yr warranty.

Any impressions of your MR? I see that you’ve had D8K and Expanse, which are similiarly prices cans. How MR compare?

Less intense and more beautiful sounding than then D8K. I'd say the MR is less offensive.

is a used Diana V2 worth 12-1300 versus paying 2000-2200 used for the MR--is the clarity/detail insanely good like many youtube videos say?

Having purchased a used V2 for that price range, I can’t imagine any other headphone being a better bang for the buck. Even against multi-kilobuck dynamics, I keep reaching for the V2.
