Depends on the adapter. There should be a way to enter pairing mode either with a button or software. My BTD600 and BT-W5 use the button. No PIN is needed.
I can enter pairing mode on my BT adapter. How do I enter pairing mode on the Hugo 2? Does your adapter connect to Hugo 2 automatically after the adapter enters pairing mode? Thanks.

You switch the Hugo to BT mode. What have you tried so far?

Entered the pairing mode and nothing happens. Maybe my BT 5.0 adapter isn't backward compatible with Hugo 2's 2.1. Gonna get a new one that explicitly says compatible with 2.1.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure about this. Maybe others can help. What specific BT adapter are you using?

I'm wondering, if I have a Hugo2 should I go for the 2go or SOTM SMS 200 Ultra? I never stream, I have all my music on a MicroSD card. Which one would yield better sonic performance? I already have the SOTM dedicated power supply ready with the cable arrangements. I just basically need to buy the SMS200 ultra and insert it into the chain. Or, I can spring for the 2go if it performs better as a source. Wonder if anyone has experience with these two models? Mobility is not an issue for me, I'm perfectly fine with a stationary set-up, if the Sotm combo would yield better results than the 2go.

No idea about the main question.

I personally find the Hugo2 needs a little EQ to compensate for its innate playback.

Some reducing of the late airy treble extension it has. And a midbass boost for a more punchy sound.

So I would vote for the stationary setup that allows for that.
