Mickey getting ready to help me test out a new amp. Always likes to be clean and sharp for work!

Do they make little sounds when watching the pigeons ? When my cats look out the window at the birds, they open their mouths slightly and emit these little funny sounds.
I miss the little chitter noises Karma would make at the birds. She'd hop in a window as soon as I opened it to see what was out there.

Yes. I call it chattering. By that time they're just vibrating all over. My little 9lb killing machines.

I’m sorry for your loss Wotts. She was a very pretty girl. She left you wonderful memories. 👍

All cats chatter at birds I believe? Nobody seem to have a definiate answer for what purpose they developed that instinct. Would birds get curious about the sound and wait just a tenth longer before fleeing?

The I am frustrated sound is different and less universal lol

Wilbur smith had a descriptive paragraph in a book of a black panther chattering. So it’s the whole cat family thing

My tabby kept on yapping at me one day and I couldn't make heads or tails out of it until he insisted I follow him into the living room where I discovered his new catch and release of the day perched on top of one of the curtain rods, yep a full grown pigeon. City living. lol
