Is anyone else having the same problem HaquaLegs is describing?

Upgrading to 1.05 firmware somehow messes 48khz playback on my unit. Seems only this particular frequency (maybe some other multiples of it, I haven't tested thoroughly).
It sounds very distorted both via LAN and USB no matter what file, upsampling anything to 48 also causes this.
If I upsample or downsample distortion magically dissapears. Reverting back to 1.01 also fixes it.
Guess, I'll sit on 1.01 then.

There is already the version 1.06. I am just listening to 48khz music. No distortion detected so far.

No well defined way exists to detect a concrete DAC model through USB. It depends on DAC manufacturer if two similar models are distinguishable through USB.
