I just purchased the Ovation from Justin Weber and had a chance to listen to it before he packed it up in the fantastically protective "suitcase" (with wheels).

I listened to three of his 'phones:

Audeze LCD-X

Dan Clark Ether 2 (nice!)

Sennheiser 6XX (Drop)

First was the Audez, and it was amazing.
I'd never listened to this brand before, so it was a treat.

Then came the Ether 2.
Wow! These are so good!
Ticked all the technical boxes and added emotional involvement to a high degree.

Finally, he put on the 6XX.
I have the 'phones in my collection so am very familiar with how they sound.

Plugged into the Ovation, these 'phones came alive. There was... BASS! (I know).
Absolutely transformed by Justin's amp.

Can't wait to finish setting up my headphone system - currently:

Sennheiser 6XX

As for Justin... what a great guy!

Btw, this 1 wpc amp is excellent at driving even "hard to drive" headphones.

I encourage audiophiles to take a serious look at the Ovation.
