Could you elaborate on the charging quirks? Why would it drain your phone as a battery device? Is this from leaving the charging aspect for laptop use enabled?

@OhmsClaw : This is when the unit is turned on with charging disabled in DAC /AMP mode and when connected to the phone and nothing playing and if you forget to switch CMA18 off, it tends to drain the battery of the phone. I made sure to check that the charging functionality was turned off when connected to phone and tested this couple of times.

I of course found the thread linked below and now wonder which batches went where I was holding out on Bloom in the US getting the case in stock to save on shipping but now who can say which units have the firmware which were batched overseas
