Would you recommend getting RNHP as a "different flavor" or would you say Lyr+ is overall more enjoyable / musical? Also is RNHP bass lite compare to Lyr+?

I think it's because it's analogue volume potentiometer. So all the way left is always zero and all the way right is always 100%, you can kind of estimate where you are depending on how far you've turned. But yeah........ unfortunately the low level volume imbalance is a common issue on...

I think in general for R2R it's best to leave it on 24-7, but in this case since it's tied to an amp so people probably don't want to leave it on all the time. Or maybe they still could? Not too sure. But I guess having a bit of warm up time is like the middle ground lol.

Yes agree with the "hybrid" aspect, so it will always be half solid state sounding, that being said, the stock JJ tube and stock Tung Sol tube are pretty neutral. So yes getting some NOS tube will help. :relaxed:
