Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
Does the Vali 3 with the WE396A have outs? I was using itube w/ WE396A between IDs micro and wa6 and it really was smooth. I would imagine if the Vali 3 can be replacement for that component it would be nice as itube is more rare now and perhaps overpriced on used markets My gear is across...- SHAMuuu

Is $2000 The Hi-End Headphone Sweet Spot in Mid-2024?
Very interesting first post and question. Not sure there is a conclusive answer per se. Even at this "sweet-spot", one must ask which technology to lean on. Unless I've missed something, and factoring in all headphones... The top spots are always e-stats. And the planar technology has...- SHAMuuu

Sennheiser HE1: Talk me off the ledge
Your HE-1 adventure has bits and bobs of comedy gold. I've had a few good laughs reading about your demo session and trying to source it, and finally obtaining it. It's great you appreciate it. XD- SHAMuuu

Sennheiser HE1: Talk me off the ledge
Excellent point on the HE-1 being essentially flawless and really being a marvel of engineering... Yet the brain might still want a little more... And perhaps that is just because of the mystique and hype prior to one hearing it. Because just looking at it, you cannot believe it is real. With...- SHAMuuu

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Had a chance to meet the Custom Cans UK team as I was down in Cheltenham with the olde ball and chain. They were nice enough to show me their workshop even though I'm sure they're quite busy with their workload. It was great to meet the chief and their product designer and social media...- SHAMuuu

Is $2000 The Hi-End Headphone Sweet Spot in Mid-2024?
WoW WaveTheory! Big fAn :D 2k does seem like a decent sweet spot. As the hobby grows, the market floods with good deals. Also with all the availability of new pads as single unit items for sale, it's not a big deal to buy used set and fresh pads/headband- SHAMuuu

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Perhaps we are on about different things. I was referring to certain units which seem to be unique by deviation from what is norm. There was a guy on YouTube with his "unicorn" unit which differed from other units and was less peaky and bass extended more. Thats what I thought of when you...- SHAMuuu

New Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd generation
Have a Gen II myself but the Lawton modded older Denon and Fostex variants give it a run for it's money. The sub bass of the bio cellulose and the slightly more balanced signature with the massive wooden chambers make it quite a nice closed back with plenty of pad rolling options to suit ones tastes- SHAMuuu

Hello Beyerdynamic, are you there??
Would you have any idea if the headbands are interchangable? Like the pro headband fitting the Tesla models for example. I wouldn't mind a slightly more skull crushing experience. Which has the highest clamp among Beyer? The old-school pro?- SHAMuuu

Hello Beyerdynamic, are you there??
Mostly gen I/gen II. Did they fix all the issues on Gen III? Anyway I do look forward to their new creations. I can never truly hate Beyer :p- SHAMuuu
