It’s elevated bass, but I think excess would be more drastic and start to mask other aspects of the sound. Excess would indicate a problem, a detraction from the rest of the performance or something painful IMO.

I did not perceive any significant lack of soundstage or separation, perhaps the bass is not excessive.
