Please leave any feedback for Zynsonix.com custom audio cables in this thread. Many thanks!
I purchased the Xev balanced cable for my HD650 with neutrik 4 pin xlr termination from Zynsonix. First let me talk about the service I received. Bryan is a great guy and he is extremely helpful and responded to all my queries extremely quickly. These days its all about customer service & communication and without a doubt, Bryan is A+ in this area. His prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of his work is brilliant.
Talking about the cable itself, I am extremely pleased with the build quality and they exude the professional work that he has put in. I placed an order for the AudioGD NFB-10ES and that was the reason I wanted the balanced cable. I was in the camp that believed that cables provided very minor improvements if at all and the changes that some perceived were mostly placebo effect. Boy, was I wrong. As Bryan had mentioned, the cables boosted the treble energy of the HD650 to such an extent that I had to get used to the new sound signature of my HD650. I have the newer version of the HD650 which are by no means veiled but these cables are like a breath of fresh air. All leading edges now have a zing to and sound crisp, sound stage has increased and instruments have air around them. And unbelievably, all these improvement were from running the HD650 of my PC as I still have not received my amp. I can only imagine how they would sound with the NFB-10ES.
Highly recommended if you want great sounding cables that don't cost a fortune from a company that understands what customer service is all about.
Bryan was amazing throughout the entire transaction. He was prompt in answering any of my questions and concerns. He was even understanding when my college budget pushed the order back a couple weeks. I received regular emails updating me on the status of the work.
I've had my ESW9s for 4 years and Bryan has made them into a new monster. His cable work has helped to redefine the sound stage and to increase clarity in all frequencies (especially the lows). I've got a pair of KSC75s that will also be visiting Bryan for work soon.
Bryan's work sounds great, is affordable, and the quality is outstanding.

Bryan is a fantastic person, good seller and he works very well and
responded to all my queries very quickly, I purchased extension
cable for K 1000 and the sound is very balanced and pleasantly smooth
Highly recommended for great sounding cables at reasonable prices.
Bryan was a pleasure to deal with. I was amazed how his cable transformed the sound of my AKG K702 phones. I am enjoying my music so much more!
I had a pair of akg 702s balanced and was nothing but impressed by the quality of the work as well as the extremely high standard of service. Bryan went above and beyond a basic recabling. He communicated at every stage of the process, graciously accommodated a shipping snafu and most importantly took on a significantly complicated modification that very few people were willing to do. I requested a very specific combination of modifications and was glad to find someone qualified and willing to make them. I'm pleased that they were executed with extreme care and skill. Even running out of an underwhelming balanced amp, the quality of this job is very apparent. The single ended adapter he fabricated is invisible. The cables do nothing to disturb the presentation of these headphones and in fact improve them noticeably. I will absolutely be using Bryan for future cable needs. His prices are very competitive. I felt like I got a pretty outstanding value to service/product ratio especially compared to competing services' prices.
Bryan recabled my 600 Ohm Beyerdynamic DT990s with a 4-pin XLR and 10ft of cable. Not only do they sound better, but the workmanship is excellent. Very friendly and easy to deal with, great pricing and great turnaround time. Very happy customer here. Thanks Bryan!
Eagerly awaiting custom cable for my HE-500. What sold me was was Bryan's blog - he obviously has a passion for exploring all aspects of the "hobby" and a very refreshing "I just build high quality cables by hand using high quality components" - no promotion of the "fad of the week" here. I have no idea what his business model is but from our email exchange I'm highly suspicious that it may be a means to fund his audio obsession

Bryan at Zynsonix built two balanced cables and an adapter for me. Both cables are 'Trebuchet' cables terminated with kobiconn (RSA/ALO) balanced connectors.
I'm one of those skeptics who don't believe cables make any audible difference in a system. They do play an important part in the overall enjoyment of audio playback though.
My main criteria for cables are:
(3) build quality
While I've not had either cable long enough to make any judgements about durability, I can say unequivocally that Zynsonic cables are among the most comfortable I've used and the quality is absolutely top tier. They are one of the best deals in a category of audio equipment rife with hype and silly prices.
More importantly, Bryan is a great pleasure to work with. He responds to questions quickly, and goes out of his way to keep you posted on the progress of an order.
(Of special note, there was a problem with the delivery of one of my cables. Bryan turned himself inside out to fix it even though the problem wasn't his fault.)
It's clear that this is more than just a business for Bryan. He genuinely enjoys building, modifying and fixing audio gear and his enthusiasm is contagious.

Another stoked customer. Absolutely blown away by Bryan's work! Just got my Zynsonix RCA cables w/ ViaBlue. Not just the most beautiful looking cables ever, but gorgeous sounding. Not to mention an incredible price. Can't speak highly enough of his work and his customer service/support.
I have used Bryan few times & found his work to be top quality.
I was in the market for an XLR switchbox with at least 3 outputs. The 2 output GoldPoint was the least sketchy I could find. So after a few months and several e-mails back and forth with Bryan, I now have a custom made 4 output XLR switchbox. It looks good, it's rock solid, and most importantly it sounds like it's not even there.

Zynsonix Trebuchet Cable
I am one of those guys who never believe that cable improves headphone sounds at all until I decided to pull a trigger to recable my T90. Personally, I love the T90 sound signature but I felt like something is missing. Since I have balanced setup, I decided to recable my T90 for balanced termination and stumbled upon Zynsonix. Honestly, I don’t see many option available on the internet to recable my T90 (even though I know there are many others that do recable mod but I just can’t find them at that time). I contacted Bryan and asked couple questions. He is a great guy and easy to reach and communicate. The entire process took almost a month from the time I shipped the headphone and getting it back. It’s not bad at all!
Disclaimer: I always set a 100 hour burn in for any of my audio setup. Nope! I have no scientific reason in doing so but I just felt like doing it.
Like I said, I never thought a better cable would significantly improves the sound quality in any headphone but I do curious on how would it changes. Although, I do believe that I might get a cleaner sound with better material. After the package arrived, I immediately opened the box. As I pull the headphone out of the case, the first thing that comes in my mind is “this is stunning”. I really love the build quality. The connector is well-built and the termination is carefully made. Honestly, there’s not much to say on this but this shows that Bryan knows what he’s doing and expert in his field. What more to this is the sound itself!
O – 50 hours burn in:
Smoother treble, better soundstage and tighter bass. That was my first impression of few hours listening time after bringing it out of the box. I am not saying that this famous hot can lose its treble and highs; it is still there but not as pierces as how it used to be. One thing that I notice improves quite significant is the soundstage. Now, the soundstage is amazing! Even better than before. This really hooks me up to believe that great cable will definitely improves the headphone. The bass is noticeable tighter as I play several songs from: Julia Michaels, Lorde, Imagine Dragons and One OK Rock. I thought everything sounds wonderful coming from the already amazing T90.
50 – 100 hours burn in:
well, I guess this is interesting. I used to equalize the T90 to tame the highs a little bit;
I try to turn the equalizer on and off every now and then to see any changes it makes after hours of burn in. Around 70 hours of listening, I turned off the equalizer and noticed that the treble is even smoother as compare to the last time I turned it off; warmer but still forward sounding with a better soundstage. At this point, I would say this the T90 that I was hoping for when I first bought the can. It comes closer to my HD800 now.
Well, that’s not much to say but Bryan at Zynsonix did an amazing job and will definitely go to him again in the future.
