^^ those old special editions or the new one *never* included preloaded content. Or do you think content is free ?

BTW, MS removed some preloaded content from the first released Zune to lower the price to 249.99.

Apparently Microsoft had initially set $289.99, to undercut iPod's $299 price for its 30GB player. But after last week's price breaks from Apple, knocking the 30GB to $249, Microsoft pushed the price down to $229.99.

I cant find the link. But there was more preloaded content with the old price.

I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't care either way if the Zune had preloaded content or not. If MS was smart, they wouldn't have bothered putting all that stuff on the Zune and just cut the price by the $40 or so that the content costs.

I really want a brown Zune! I just got to play around with one the other day at the Virgin Megastore (Downtown Disney, Orlando

). Cool little player!

Once my Sony NW-HD1 craps out, I'm SO going for the Zune. But I have a feeling my little Sony won't be stopping for quite awhile - it's been going on 3.5 years now, with plenty of daily usage, and the battery doesn't even show any signs of stopping. Made in Japan stuff IS better
