Seems pretty cool. How much is it? I'd still rather have an orange one...

Kinda like how the U2 Ipod was so much better than the normal one? That kind of better?

It does have the extra content, but still. The nerdiness isn't worth it, and you can get a normal colored one for $200 now.

U2 ??? did you forgot about the overpriced Madonna, Tony Hawk, Beck (?), Harry Potter versions ?

In December 2002, Apple unveiled its first limited edition iPods, with either Madonna’s, Tony Hawk’s, or Beck’s signature or No Doubt's band logo engraved on the back for an extra US$49.[27

my point was, it's just a zune, in a new wrapper, but don't be ragging on Microsoft for doing it, it's been done before.

that was all.

did anyone actually buy one of those earlier LE ipods? I've never seen one, but i've seen a few U2 ones.

Harry Potter Ipod is about the lamest thing i've ever heard.

Another marketing hype.
If one is a Halo fanatic, then this might appeal to him/her.
And the whole "limited edition" creates another hype for one to buy before it runs out.
For some reason, I think it's going to do well, especially among Xbox players.

Um ok. That was back in 2002. A year after the iPod came out. If the Zune was released back then, I'm pretty sure it would be similarly priced. I wonder what made Microsoft cut the Zune's price by $50...oh wait, that's because Apple did that first.
