I've seen quite a few comparisons of these two portable amps on the web, but I was hoping an expert could comment on my specific application.

I have very bright sounding in-ear Klipsch S2 headphones.  I want to improve the overall sound quality, but primarily the bass.  The source will be an IPad.

Are there any users who have tried both of these portable amps?  I feel I hear conflicting reviews... many say the ZO2 has far better bass than the E17, but that the E17 makes the mids and highs much more enjoyable.  Others say the E17 has accurate bass, and the ZO2 is bassy but distorted.  I'm a newbie at this stuff, and I really just want a great portable amp that will give me great sound and the accurate, bassy punch that I desire.  The price difference isn't an issue.  Thanks for your help!

I too would love someone's opinion on this as I am differing between the two only because I can't decide if I want a separate DAC paired with the O2 or want an all-in-one bundle with the Fiio.
