A difference though with this run is Zach mentioned lightly staining them red to help preserve the natural red color.

Hey @zach915m I don't see Atticus on the sales page anymore, discontinued?
So - right now we're doing alternating mini runs, meaning that Atticus and/or Eikon will be available sporadically in small runs of singular lower stock woods. Right now we're doing the Eikon in MonkeyPod: https://shop.zmfheadphones.com/collections/stock-headphones/products/eikon-classic

Later on we will likely do similarly with the Atticus, but probably won't do them at the same time.

So not totally discontinued, but not in regular production.

Later on when we institute the Custom shop it'll be available at any time on special order.

Thank you for the info! Is Aeolus going to be in a similar boat soon? Kicking myself for not grabbing a stabilized set last go round and wondering if there will be more in the future...

@zach915m at one point you may have mentioned possibly doing the bokeh case but for some of the other ZMF offerings. Is that still true, and if so, what does timing on that look like? I would not object to a case like that for my atrium!

They are definitely coming. I'm checking on timing. I believe they are at least a couple of months out.

It looks like they will arrive August/September time frame. Zach did say he will have some at CanJam London with him.

Do the clear resin headphones sound different than full wood? I'd imagine see-through resin to have an effect on the sound.
Expect stabilised resin to behave similar to very hard wood units.

Yep. And there really shouldn't be any difference in sound between the clear resin and any of the other resin stabilized sets. It looks aesthetically different, but the construction is basically the same.
