Looking forward to seeing more of Chicago my second time around.
I have thought about the stuff I'd want to bring to this event, but there are logistical and practical issues when flying from Seoul.
I also thought, "Hey, people will want to be bringing the best of what they've got," and why not? This is a get-together for enthusiasts, and some of the most fun of these types of events is being able to try out and listen to stuff you may not have a chance to experience.
With that, I thought I'd try to bring SOMETHING this time. However, half my stuff is 120v, and the other half is 220v. So, I then thought "Why not bring something within a manageable budget for an 'average' person, and allow them a chance to experience ZMF headphones with gear that isn't exorbitantly expensive?" There is sure to be something interesting to share for others. I'll figure something out.
Hope to see you all there in a couple months! Woohoo!
You got it! I think I have them somewhere...
And I’ll cook up some other take away for this year’s Festivus Fam. Always welcome to grab a few extras for the kiddos!

The last meet was absolutely fantastic, but, I’d be particularly keen on seeing some more weird/rare stuff. I’ll likely be bringing at least one Sigma and factory SR-5 Pro, and possibly K1000. If anyone here knows a friend they can invite who’s got some Ergo AMT’s or Plasmasonic’s, give them a shout out.
After hearing the raal requisite at F1 in Chicago during a meet a few months ago, I've always wondered what the original K1000 sounded like. Yes, would be interesting for sure. BTW, that raal was the most impressive head gear I've yet to slap on my noggin. Then again, it was being driven by a D'Agostino 2ch amp IIRC.

I heard an early prototype of the Raal SR1A as it’s being called now, being driven by Benchmark AHB2’s, and it blew me away. Having heard pretty much everything, this falls second place only to the Plasmasonic for all setups I’ve heard. Quite incredible. Maybe we can beg Alex or Dan over at Raal Cali to bring one for us to play with?
Jameson from F1Audio in Chicago was at the St Louis meet with a pair of SR1A. I would be surprised if he was not at Festivus. Interesting product but the simple logistics of having to have a heavyweight speaker amp makes a no go for me.
I'm gonna throw out a Hail Mary here - I just came into possession of a Wells Milo and I've been dying to hear some Kennerton cans through it. If anyone has a pair they'd be willing to bring, I would be eternally grateful.
Amazing! No problem at all. If you can make it- we’d love to have you. Just let me know whenever you’re able. No worries there!
