ZMF Verite Open

Does anybody else, who's waiting for their Verite to be built, feel like a twitchy, crackhead now that we no longer have spreadsheets to check daily? Asking for a friend.
If you feel like a crackhead now, wait until you hear them.

Arrived today and already sounds great out of the box- this is the Blackwood version /w rose gold grilles and rods. I actually wasn't sure I had made the right choice with rose gold, but was looking for a warm and inviting colorway and am very happy I stuck with it.

"Just one more song...."

So very true...

My adventures with VO...
A30 Pro will make great Depth soundstage with musical Tonality (yes.. the miss direction sound house)

While SA-1 will give you precise 3D imaging...

just sharing the my impressions...
Good day, and stay healthy...
Love the SA-1. Loving the Verite is a given.

We need moar pictures! I'm waiting (im)patiently for my own Blackwood VO with aged copper metal. Hoping it looks as good as yours!

Also not so subtle DNA amp hiding in the background...how does it sound with the VO?

I was there too. But, it seems you already have a pair of VO based on your profile picture here, or am I seeing incorrectly?

Edit: Oh, this will be your third set. I love mine, but... You know you can only really listen to one pair at a time, right? Lol

Rose gold looks beautiful, more pictures please! I’m waiting for my all-black Blackwood VO but still not fully decided between black, aged copper, and rose gold.

How long was your wait time btw? 8 weeks and counting here :)

IMHO you choose the best combo. Rose gold shines with a dark wood.

More than happy to take additional pictures tomorrow- the sun is setting on this side of the globe, which my smartphone's camera unfortunately can't cope with well at all. Blackwood and aged copper also strikes me as a nice, warm combination, an option I was considering as well.

Thus far, I really like the the DNA Starlett with the Verite Blackwood- very synergistic and with no digital glare whatsoever, but still clear, detailed and more than fast enough to keep up with the Verite; it just sounds right, although the Verite hasn't "burned in" yet. While I tried several different tubes with the Starlett, none sound as good as the "stock" ones Donald picked, bless his ears, so I stuck to those and just enjoyed the music.

I jumped on the Blackwood right as it became available, which would make it ~10 weeks, I believe.

I have a Starlett / VO (silk wood) combination as well, and I'm thinking hard about ordering a new pair in blackwood. The Starlett is a little warmer than my last amp, and I think the harder wood might be a perfect match. Plus, they are insanely nice. I need to avoid this thread for a few weeks I think.

Gorgeous headphones... Enjoy!

That is nothing short of a disgustingly good-looking pair of headphones. Simply stunning.
