Maybe they're setting up for the new LTD woods to be brought in.

Seriously, I think it's tied to the move to their new workshop and to keep things simple to sort out their processes there, then start again.

You can get whatever combo you want, I think. Once you add it to your cart, you are provided with those options. You could always email a request if you wanted something not listed on the site, such as rose gold rods and black grill. They are usually extremely accommodating and want you to be happy with your order, and are straightforward when something isn't an option. Obviously the ones already made, such as for b-stock sales come as they were made.

The Verite here is Ziricote which looks very similar to Blackwood. Here's another example (not mine unfortunately):

I have blackwood and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's like having a sonic good-luck charm. But ziricote is flat out beautiful--it's the bathing beauty of the dark woods IMO.
