Yeah, I wanted to order the Blackwood VC but 500g is my limit. (My Camphor Burl VC are 490g)

Do VC sound better than open? What’s your experience?

Here is my opinion, what do u looking for, Tonality or Technicality ? for my ear, Tonality I will go for VC, while technicality VO will be better.
Pairing with synergy headphone amp will also affect, VC is more easy to drive, with portable AMP, it can delivered almost 80-90 % technicalities to Desktop AMP.
And using SS AMP will be great synergy with VC. While VO need a really proper AMP, desktop AMP will be much better... to get better tonality, Tube AMP can get the vocal be more lush & sweet...

Just my 3 cents...

Any other VC owners out there interested in a pad swap? I'd like to try the BE2 solid pads with my VC, preferably in Lambskin but I would be ok with the hybrid as well. I have some pads available to trade, one set of Universe Lambskin Solid and one set of Eikon Lambskin Perforated. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

PSA! Vibra-Tite VC3 is the SAFEST and really only thread locker we recommend. Anything else on MAG chassis will strip the paint. Also - regular loctite if it gets on the headphone cups is very bad news to the finish as well. VC3 for the win.

That’s what I used once when my cup came loose. No problem since. Thanks Zach.

About to buy a tube amp for the new Verite closed I ordered. Was thinking on the feliks audio echo mk1 or the espressivo mk2. Any other suggestions in the $1k range that will go well with the VC?
