I've had a heck of a time with my large ears finding higher-end headphones that fit.

I'll run into problems with one of two dimensions:
  1. insufficient cup size (many)
  2. Insufficient depth (Audio Technica and Beyerdynamic often fault from these)

So far, I've really only had luck with Audeze (LCD-2 and EL-8) as far as long-term comfort goes (in exchange for getting some neck exercise).

That said, I'm in need of some nice closed cans, and I'm love with the look of the ZMF Verité Closed (especially the stabilized wood varieties -- already sadly failed to snag a pair), and with ZMF November coming up, I may have to act fast.

Anyone have any input on the internal size of these?

I own the LCD-4 and VC . I would give the ZMF VC the win in comfort here.

Thanks for the info.!

Just to be more specific - is this comfort due to the cup size, clamping force, something else, or "overall"?
They distribute the weight better and probably a tad lighter also.
Also many pad options for you to find something comfortable
