Glad to hear that. So the stock pads have more satisfying slam to your ears than the cowhide? I admittedly have no idea what to make of the cowhide pads. I like the other three pads I own (stock, slim, and suede) so much, but I’m curious how the sound with the cowhide pads might change as they are broken in. @zach915m’s baseball glove analogy still resonates with me.

was contemplating the Atriums, but ended up pulling the trigger on the Caldera. had a listen to both atrium and caldera yesterday, out of a Cayin HA-300 mk2 and the DCS lina stack. i had enjoyed the Atriums from the very first time i heard them at CanJam, enjoyed them yesterday, but the Caldera was the one that pulled at my heart strings. Kingswood eta Jan 2023.

So, my new amp has arrived. The Caldera is one happy headphone. This headphone is amazing! Love the way it sounds. I now have 3 amps that play the Caldera to its potential. All 3 sound different and all 3 would keep me happy for a long time with the Caldera.
