As a long time Caldera owner, I found the Aegis to be an exceptional match for these headphones, especially if you also connect them with a Grand Silver Palladium cable. Some of you might want to check out my thoughts on the Aegis.
Excellent Aegis review!!! - thanks.

Great review!!!! I especially think this is an important note, and really where @L0rdGwyn finds such a perfect harmony:

It is untrue that tube amps always sound soft and warm. Tube amps can also sound neutral, even bright. For example, the Feliks Envy in stock form is more neutral than some solid state amps. Tubes can also be snappy. The Aegis has a healthy amount of neutrality, with just enough warmth to fill the voice of the singers and sound of acoustic instruments with life. Keenan's creation does all this in a lifelike, crisp and dynamic manner.

His designs are just such a perfect balance of technicalities, tube ambiance, and crispness that you always feel like you're getting "more" and not missing out on detail and such. Well said!

Can I have this one please :)

Some absolutely stunning models there. Went with a Caldera open for ZMF November. My Norne cables have shipped for the headphones.

The Caldera sound amazing out of the Hugo2 for listening around the house.

Curious if there's a B-stock sale for Salire and cases this year? Thanks Zach

Also what about the big Salire. I didn't follow it actively. Have they been released yet or will soon?

I wish I could order ZMF Caldera Open, this color, would it be possible?
Thank you
It won't be exactly the same, but I am sure they could make something very similar. Best is to contact them directly.

Part of what makes ZMF so special is that each one is unique. You might be able to work out a custom build with Zach, or you could just wait & watch, like I did, and your dream ZMF may just appear for sale when you least expect it.

There's a spelling mistake on the atrium open website page. 'driverr'

I remember reading that the Caldera sound “grows” in you… This is exactly what happened to me.
From day one I liked my CO but I was not blown away at the beginning, but the more I use it the more I love it. It is now my preferred headphone by far!. I have a closed Bokeh which is the perfect complement when a closed back is needed. My CO is like my preferred wine, I try others but I keep coming back to it and enjoying it more every time.
The only problem I see is that my other headphones are not getting any play-time so I am now wondering if I should sell them…. :scream:
the caldera isn't a sonic show pony. that's part of its enduring charm for me.

I'm back in the ZMF game with the B-stock Lava Burst CO! Ever since I sold my first CO, I've been yearning for its sound.
Congratulations!!!! These ZMFs are so beautiful that I want to buy more even though I know I do not need another headphone....
