I had a chance to try both of these at the southeast MI meet, I am sure the winner will be a happy camper. I am new to the HF headphone realm but was very impressed with what I heard. I won't even try to use the appropriate technical terms because I don't have the experience for it yet. 
 
The Eikon was more appealing to me, and I far preferred it over the HD650's in both sound and build quality for the few rock and pop/edm songs I tried.

You guys are making it hard for me to get off the forums lol. Keep reminding me there's a possibility of winning a pair so now I'm looking around to see what I could spend my money on to pair these with if I sell my audeze. Really not a fan of anxiety of thinking it'd be great to win something lol but sometimes you're really heartfelt about something and it's hard not to. The letdowns always a drag :joy:

So you invested around $1 per person to make us drooling after these beauties, and potentially throwing at you 1000x more. Actually less if we consider production prices. That's a spectacular way of doing marketing! I'm curious how many will preorder. You got me for sure, and it's only 2nd time I'm preordering audio stuff in my life. (1st was HM-602).
