Im torn between the solid and the standard ugh
This. I did pretty much all my initial listening on the solid mesh pre-release. I was perfectly happy with it, but when the finalized stock version came out I preferred it slightly. When I get some time, I'll revisit the solid mesh and see how I feel about it. I might switch back.

I noticed more intimate mids, slightly less definition and less soundstage depth with the solid. The sound overall is thicker and more enjoyable with solid mesh. I’d say if classical or live music was your preference maybe the standard atrium mesh is best. I’ll keeping the solid for them mids 😊

To my ears, the best combination is the stock vented mesh with the Auteur lambskin pads. (With a clean and neutral tube amp)
That's exactly my preference as well.
