Anyone feel aeolus is their favorite ZMF (those of you who tried the zmf flagships?)
I am one of them. Aeolus is my all-time favourite based on my sound preference. I simply love it for its attributes of smoothness, lushness, mids-centricity, warmth and intimacy with music. If I want more clarity and staging, I’ll reach for the VO. Atrium would be a middle ground between the two with superior staging while Caldera is most detailed and skews more neutral. It all depends on one’s sound system and personal preference (and types of pads used). All are excellent ZMF headphones with its own merits.Anyone feel aeolus is their favorite ZMF (those of you who tried the zmf flagships?)

..... end of thinking end game .... allBeautiful. End game sound I bet.

Welcome back! You should stay a while this timeBack in the Aeolus gang. It's the headphone that I keep on selling for stupid reasons and continue to buy back because I miss them. I've now bought and sold five different units. Hopefully this one will be the last time I do this.

I read posts like this and become even more hesitant to let go of any equipment I have ever bought.Back in the Aeolus gang. I let go of tons of equipment and most of the time I don't miss any of it. There's only a few things in my previously owned that I wish I didn't let go. Aeolus was one of them and today I've corrected that mistake. I won't make it again.I read posts like this and become even more hesitant to let go of any equipment I have ever bought.
Sixth time has got to be the charm, right?
I see you grabbed those Redwood ones for sale today. Was so tempted to jump back into the Aeolus game too, I've only sold one pair so far though Now that I've updated more of my chain, have a desire to see how they sound now. Patiently waiting for the ZMF sale and hopefully I'll own them again too!I let go of tons of equipment and most of the time I don't miss any of it. I'm sure you'll read through pages and pages of people like myself who've ran the gauntlet of gear, climbed some kind of summit and come back down to earth deciding on more modestly priced gear that's just pure fun. I'm at that point in this journey. There's less than a handful of items left on my gear list that I have any interest in owning.
..... what happens when an Aeolus seller sees his shadow? Six weeks of abject misery .GROUNDHOG DAY (headphone version)
