Never heard the Turbines.  I prefer the Gratitude to the Basso, but the Tenore to the Gratitude.  See sig for rankings.

I'm looking to get a Carbo Singolo from Headfonia because I like the Tenore so much I am hoping to get a BA version of it, but the lack of review concerns me.

For those of you looking for an IEM around $60-$70, give the Zero Audio Carbo Tenore ZH-DX200-CT a look before they're gone (don't see them on amazon.jp any longer).  I've been on a quest to find an upgrade, but I prefer them over the BA200, Fidelio S2, Gratitude, Pistons, Basso, GR07 MKII, RE-400, etc.  Airy vocals, energetic, extended but not sibilant highs, quick, hard-hitting bass (more quantity than BA200, S2, RE-400, GR07 MKII, less than Gratitude and Pistons), and tuned to sound natural (not too bright and not too warm/dark).

Bassos got more hype, but I think those who had both (me, DannyBai, Lifted Andreas, Kahaluu) prefer the Tenore.  People may have tried the wrong one :)

Oh boy I am suspecting the Tenore has the same or very similar driver to the MH1, they sound very alike and driver size is the same ...

The new BAs from Zero audio aren't going to be as good, I'll tell you that off the bat based on my experience.

that would explain the lack of review and the lack of general enthusiasm from our community compared to those for the Tenore.

They're so good they sold out extremely fast in Japan and almost all gone for users in the US. The only option is Amazon, none on eBay
