Yeah I would totally recommend the Icons, they surprise me with every listen. :)
I kinda miss my Tenores though if I'm honest, I got really attached to them. Made a habit of listening to them at least twice a week, but now they're gone. :frowning2:

too bad man. but they arent that expensive so u can always get a new set...
im having issue getting Icons as its not sold in my country yet..

Anyone have thoughts on Zero's BA iems WRT Tenore? Kinda interested in doppio and dx500
  4. Lurk650
Pretty sure Doppio is actually worse than the Tenores/Basso
  5. Grayson73
A lot of people like Doppio more than Tenore, but I haven't tried them.  There are a lot more, but here are some to start:

Sorry, guess it was the Duoza that is actually not as good as the Tenore
  7. Raketen
guess I didn't look hard enough lol.. thanks

i think i saw some comments about this before i went a few page but lost it, i wanna ask how is Tenore VS Soundmagic E30?
  9. Lifted Andreas
True that, but I still have the Yamaha EPH-100 to keep me sane if it turns out I'll get bored of the Icons... bahahaha (sry, that thought made me laugh out loud!).
Sucks that you cant get hold of them atm, have you tried ordering from GearBest?
Not sure about the E30 but I had the E10 prior to Tenores and the latter was a definite step up to my ears.

I did see a few people say that, but I also saw a lot who told me Duoza was an upgrade from Tenore.  I haven't tried it yet.

The thought has been in my mind for a long time now but I dont want to be the advocate for Zero Audio IEMs. If only they knew about the hype that me, @waynes world and @Dsnuts created for them lol!
ZA would employ us as in-house reviews/comparison jockeys. Our swagline would be, "WE'RE TOTALLY NOT BIASED!". [IMG]

Duoza is $108 (on Amazon) and is DD....won't how it compares to the Puros which are also DD and can be had for half the price on eBay
Doppio is $119 (on Amazon) is DBA
Singolo is a single BA....this may be the one I remember people not caring for
  13. Raketen
What i've read about singolo has been positive, saying its closer to tenore than to doppio. Unfortunately in US it seems to be import only, while tenore, doppio bx200 and 500 have local stock.

Yeah looking at Grayson's sig, he has the Singolo a few spots below the Tenore. I do remember people saying one of the 3 higher ups was actually not that big of an upgrade over the Tenore, maybe even downgrade
  15. Raketen
Welp, ordered the BX500 just because it was cheapest and available, The few comments I could find (and google translate of some kakaku reviews) described it as midsy and smooth with rolled off treble and bass which is pretty much what I'm hoping for, non-fatiguing low volume podcast listening in noisy areas. Hope it works [IMG] (did see the ety Safety which has built in volume restriction like the etyKids, might have to try at some point too)
