Hi,

Creative US posted a reply to a person on the Nomadness webb site which said that the warranty on new units is one year limited warranty. This is also shown on the new box. Looks like all the complaints are finaly being addressed, although a limited warranty is still not as good as full warranty

I saw that also, but when i checked out what the old 90 warranty said, it said it also was a limited waranty rather then the unlimited everyone says it has. If you read the 90 days warranty info it says it is limited but it covers the cost of repairs and parts so basically it is an unlimited. So that means that this one year one should be basically unlimited, just it is called limitied by creative. Hopefully what i said makes sense. HEHE

An "Unlimited Warranty" would cover things like water damage, dropped onto concrete, etc. You almost never see that type of warranty on electronics, and you really can't expect it either.
