Hi all,

I think i'm one of the first canadians to receive their ipod nano :P

It just arrived yesterday by SAMEDAY RIGHT-O-WAY.
The shipping service isn't good, and isn't bad. They're just too small and could care less about personal item shipping.

First impressions:

obviously good. i love the design of the packaging, and the design of the ipod nano. let me tell you, i was THOROUGHLY surprised at the size of the thing. trust me.. the pictures are nothing. i know many of you have said this already, but when you see it in person, you'll be like.. **** this thing is small. It is darn small. And light. And sexy.

Second impressions:
I got home and decided to take it out of the packaging and starting syncing my songs. Everything worked out right. Then i tried syncing my calender from outlook. That didn't work... in fact i got an unknown ambiguous error message that didn't make any sense. In fact, if u search around the net, many nano users are starting to realize this error. ipod support has not been that helpful either.
other than that, the sound quality is excellent. i used to have a zen micro (famous for it's sound quality), and i have to say that they are quite similar. the zen is SLIGHTLY, i mean slightly clearer, but it is not audible with normal headphones. this being that i have grado sr-60's and a fair amount of other audiophile headphones (thanks to my brother). Of course, the thing is extremely smaller than the zen micro. The zen micro looks like a beached whale compared to the thing.
everything is working out fine, and i seem to be enjoying the new features.

as to how i'm protecting this beautiful object, i'm using my old zen micro pouch. it works well, but the ipod nano is too small for it . the fabric of the pouch does not scratch the nano.. in fact, it polishes it. i am quite lucky in that sense.

Now, some Nano **** :P

LOL, then shouldn't this be a nano review, rather than a mini review? *rimshot*.
