I have a Denon 2900 modded by sacdmods. It seems that if I haven't used the player for an extended period of time, the player doesn't sound as open and/or there is some excess midbass. (The rest of my system is on 24/7.)

Could this be a function the the zap filter having to re burn-in, or is it my imagination (or neither)?

It sounds like some electrical component in there changing how it works as it warms up. That's mighty funky. It shouldn't be like that.

See ya

Might be. Do you turn it off completely or do you use standby?
