6c33 's draw 6.6 amps of heater current per tube .... plus you also have to supply heater current for the gain tube and the two rectifier tubes. The extra transformers are probably necessary to supply the heater current demands. The amp is dual mono so I am guessing one transformer for the high voltage power supply and one for the heaters; per side.

Hi,
Wouldn't a dual mono amp have two input tubes, not one?

A dual mono amp uses at least two triodes, one for each side. The 6SL7 is a dualtriode, with each triode of the single 6SL7 driving the 6c33c

... and as to the size I was shocked by the size of the Zana Deux (entire amp) when I opened up the box. It was about 30% larger than I had envisioned the amp in my mind. Something about the pictures makes it seem smaller (most likely due to how thin it is). So the caps may well be even larger than they look.

Okay, now I'm totally lost.... If the power tubes are only 1.5A each, how in the word does the output become 6.6 A?

funny side note: i tried opening it up... very bad idea...

The output is not 6.6 amps. The output is stated as 650mw @ 300 ohms and 200 mw @ 32 ohms.

6c33's normally draw 6.6 amps of heater current @ 6.3 volts. He could be running the tubes @ 12.6 volts which would be 3.3 amps per tube .... and then running the tubes in series. He also drops the filament voltage 10%. So that would be my guess if the tube is only drawing 1.5 amps.

Open it from the bottom, not the top. At least that's my recollection of how I opened it up. Other than a bunch of screws having to be removed it was pretty easy.
