So I't trying to make a choice between three headphones or so including:
Etymotic ER-4P
Beyer DT 990
UE Super.fi 5
Perhaps Senn HD 595 as well
All of these I can find within a range that Im willing to spend (namely up to 250). Listening preferences are with Electronic though specifically with vocal trance so detail is at least somewhat important in the mids and highs for me. I have an amp as well so the higher impedance isn't of consequence. If your unfamilial with vocal trance just think Electronic music with female vocals behind it so still same pumping bass and all that jazz but with a lot of emphasis given to those female vocals.
Im wondering if the beyers stand out far and away from the others in sound quality. Compared with the Etys in particular any thoughts on if it may provide a more enjoyable and lively listening experience with my music preferences? Anyone just have their favorites amongst the four?
If anyone has experience with both the ER4P, but perhaps the stereo reference version as well, and ER6i and can enlighten me as to how much of a difference separates the two. Knowing that may help, not neccesarily easier but may help
Trying to find information from people that have dealt with all three has proven fruitless so any help would be most apreciated, thank you in advance.
