your opinions on Audio-Technica ATH-FC7

well those are them, ill prob be getting the gold ones. it says it has good bass and thats what im looking for. has anyone ever used these and can validate this? Would these be on par with the sony mdr xd400's? thanks for helping me if you do, im new and fragile

They're pretty good for the price. Uncomfortable, and with an extremely small soundstage, but the sound quality is surprisingly good. The bass is pretty strong, too.

they're fun cans but can be a little dark with slightly bloated bass. i've never heard the xd400 so i wouldn't be able to help you compare.

I agree with BoltSan. I think they're pretty good also for the price. No other closed phone in this price range sounds better to me (Senn 202/212, PX200). They were uncomfortable at first, but you can definitely mold the band to fit nicely (and I wear glasses and have earrings at the top of my ears) and I hear putting extra foam helps. If it's worth it also, they look cool when walking around.

You can get them slightly cheaper from Bluetin.com (don't worry about their old-school website and order methods, they're a good company if you haven't bought from them)

the akg is more comfortable but is slightly worse sounding.

not under but around there. i ordered at the worst time... christmas lol. stupid me. that time it took over a week.

My A500 took a total of 20 days to come.

Audiocubes took 14 days to ship it, but the shipping itself only took 6 days.

They sent me an email and today, the day after i ordered they updated the status to processing. thats probably because i ordered them on a saturday, but i expected japanese people would work all week. Ive seen so many things and they always look very busy
