i'm thinking of getting the DT 770's in december. i wanted to know what you guys think of it. I mostly listen to rock and house music. if i do buy it i was planning on pairing it with a fiiO e7 DAC/amp. which would connect to my PC/ipod. just want a feel for what you guys think.

The iPod can not use the DAC feature of the Fiio E7, just the amp part.
I suggest to get the Fiio E11, which has a better amplifier then the E7.
And get an Asus Xonar DG sound card for your PC, you can plug the Fiio E11 into the Xonar DG.
If the Fiio E11's battery goes dead, you can plug the DT770 Pro 250-Ohm straight into the DG while the E11 recharges.
Also you can buy the Fiio E11 with a spare battery and separate AC powered battery recharger (recharges spare battery, not battery in E11)

yea i know that i can use Dac feature on the ipod. im also trying to keep everything under $250. so ill check out this soundcard thanks for the info!
