the Limey is good. Terrance Stamp is always a pleasure to watch.


I'll have to rack my brain on this one. High & Low (a Kurosawa film) comes to mind. more to come later...

How about..hmm.. The Conversation? Anyone hear of that? It's probably only good to see once, though. A lot of it sucks, from what I remember.

Both of these films are by Emir Kusturica. They open the door to a culture I never new existed. I could not even begin to describe these films, only to say that once viewed, they will stay with you forever. Both these films are truly that magical. As a bonus, the soundtrack in both films is Rom, Serbian/Macedonian gypsy music. It is really unique music. Worth seeing for the music alone!
