To quote a one Phil Ochs: "It's impossibly good, it just can't be that good. How can a human mind do this?"

DR. DRE. chronic 2001

Not a rap/hip-hop/G-rap fan. But I will undoubtedly say that 2001 as close as anyone will get to perfection in that area. Still sounds fresh and modern 13 years later while everyone else dropped real instruments.

Hard to say one album is the favorite at this time, but the 4th Led Zep album, at various times in my life has been the uncontested favorite. It is one of my reference points when I get new gear as well.

I introduced my cousin to Dexter Gordon's Go a couple years back and he can't get enough of the opening song Cheese Cake. I on the other hand never seem to get tired of the closing track Three O'Clock in the Morning. It's a great album.
