...you just almost ordered the Dale Vishay RN55D 1M resistor with a part number of RN55D-F-1M/R(which are $60 apiece) instead of RN55D-F-1M(which doesn't exist, apparently)...

...you've hit the "Get Mail" button more than 10 times in the last 5 minutes...

There is a RN60D-F-1M though with slightly different specs at $0.21 and below.

D'oh! And I just ordered (and left out the 1M, of course). Oh well... The amps'll have to make do with socked 100K until the next Mouser order!

But do you have any idea what the /R variants *are*?

I think that the R is a Life Failure value in %/1000 hours

M=1
P=0.1
R=0.01
S=0.001

R and S are very high reliability numbers and you will pay for it. It has nothing to do with the actual tolerance of the part.
