I wonder if it's hard to paint it nice by myself?

Painting plastic and metal can be tricky. It tends to not stick to surfaces, go on unevenly, run, etc. It also requires a steady hand if you're doing a lot of intricate work, which is something I don't really have. I haven't got the patience for it, personally.

I'm fully behind you on this.
But honestly, I'm quite surprised and honored my Grados were chosen for this.

I love this thread!!
So now the Stax SR007 (slightly K1000 inspired)

and another variation. not strictly barney themed but this "mistake" was too cool (eye bleeding) not to share.

kudos to the original poster.  fantastic idea to do a barney mod as if your 5 year daughter grabbed your $1000 headphones and decided to "make them pretty like Barney".
glad he did it with only SR60 though.

From this point on let's keep the comments not so disparaging to the OP and add positive criticism only.

I believe we may have begun a new Head-Fi meme in this thread. I agree that nobody should be too mean, as it's all supposed to be in good fun. Plus, this thread is too entertaining to get closed.
