Has anyone had a possibility to compare Canons or Moonlight vs Sennheiser IE 600? I've auditioned IE 600 and I'm really impressed with this set. Unfortunately, checking Yanyins out before the purchase is not an option for me.
If you are really impressed with IE600, it may be best to go with IE600, then make a different decision based on other people's preferences.

I'm wondering if there is any hiss with the DX300 or WM1A because of the low impedance...
If you mean the Moonlight. No hiss with the WM1A on low gain balanced output.

Yes, with the Moonlight. That's relieving. I remember there was some hiss back in the day with the Andromeda S, apparently the Moonlight has even lower impedance :D

I do not share the joy of owning Yanyin products.
Of the positive, I note only a low-frequency speaker.

I did not like the bright and at the same time failed middle at all. Against the background of this brightness, distant high frequencies are not audible at all, and in Moonlight they seem to be simply absent. EST forgot to connect.
Many write about a good scene. Good scene, this is Moondrop Kato. But not Yanying.
As a result, very specific mids that may appeal, but obviously not to everyone, but only to lovers of just such a supply of mids.

That would make sense considering its a all DD set and the Voice coil and suspension need to loosen up "Break In". When I worked for a speaker manufacturer we always had a minimum break in time before we sold any drivers. Also keep in mind in Hybrids and tribrids that the nature of BA and EST drivers don't really break in so much as the DD once lossened up changes its frequently output and effects the overall tonal balance of the entire set thusly "Opening them up".

Musicians know that their 🎸 monitor driver needs to be changed after a while in use because the suspension gets too loose and makes sloppy bass.

But same as a brand new driver is very tight and bass is fast but not fully articulated. The Voice coil and capston also sound different after some current is played through and especially with copper VC the sound gets smoother right up to the time you burn the thing LOL!

My 2*
Boom, + 1000!

Moonlight hasn't come to me yet, but I want to sell them already. There are no high frequencies in them. Hurtful.
Lol. What you talking about?
No high frequencies?

Seriously? Cuz I make it be known. I give one of the highest ratings for an earphone with no high frequencies. Cuz I love me some muddy sounds with no high frequencies. Where you getting no high frequencies? Maybe for a 90 year old person but moonlight has excellent treble. No way would I give it a high rating without high frequencies.

Why even use 4 drivers dedicated for the high frequencies to have none.
