After many years of service, I'm looking for a new earphone to replace/upgrade the Yamaha EPH-100.
The most logical answer would be the Yamaha EPH-200, but that isn't being sold yet and also haven't seen any impressions about it.
I listen mostly to bassier genres of music such as underground hip hop, reggae, alternative and old school R&B, Soul, Funk, but also some classic rock. No classical music or anything like that.
For now my budget is around €100 (or about $120).
My main focus has been on the Ibasso IT01, Fiio FH1 and the Oriveti Basic. Really like the design of all three and detachable cable is a plus. Furthermore, isolation is also pretty important as I would be using them during commute and travel. They need to be easy to drive as I use them straight out of my phone. Sound signature can be similar o the Yamaha's as I really like them, but maybe just a little bit better in every aspect.
Hopefully someone can help me narrow the search even further. Or broaden it ...
Thanks.
