I did it again... Spent more money

As if headphones weren't enough I had to go and buy an amp. Looking to upgrade the source now. Must... have... Music Hall CD25... I really gotta stop coming to this place! Making the choice was not easy. I looked hard at the SR-71. I figured the XP-7 was portable enough, and I got the AD797 op-amps with it

Todd was kind enough to install those little suckers before he shipped it!!! I just got home about thirty minutes ago to find the FedEX package sitting at the door. I am listening to it now. The HD580 sound incredible!

Thanks everyone for all the reviews and threads

I am glad you are enjoying your new amp. The increased enjoyment of the music makes it all worth while. I like to listen to CD's that I have not heard for a while, it is often like a new discovery when I have upgraded my equipment.

It's an amazing amp, and one of the great values IMHO. I love mine...I wish I could find the time to listen to it more.

I love mine, too. I really can't see upgrading to anything else anytime soon. The amount of money I'd have to spend on getting significantly better sound would be pretty substantial, not to mention a probable need to upgrade my source. I think it's a great all-rounder, able to compete with many good home amps yet small enough to carry around with you. I think it was money well spent.

Thanks man! I agree. I wanted a portable amp, but didn't really need the amp to be as portable as the sr-71. I plan to get a better non-portable source in the future, and figured I could use it as my home amp. Now all I have to do is save up for that

I REALLY like the sound especially with the HD580's. I am running it through my Ipod for the time being, and am amazed at how they came to life. The Ipod didn't drive them well at all. I have been listening to Tesla: Five Man Acustical Jam, ripped at 320kbps. Love Song rocks!!! The guitar strumming, vocals, the live audience. Just amazing!!! Feels like I am there
