Hey y'all,
Two questions:
1. Does anyone use the traveller bag from headphone.com (headroom) to carry their XP-7 amp and player? Is it good for that? Any other portable bag good for the XP-7?
2. Is the separate power supply for the XP-7 internationally compatible (100-240V)?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the cosmic isn't so bad because the traveller bag was built specifically for it. I'm starting to realize how nice custom carrying cases are.

... but now I'm back!
The Traveller seems the most ideal bag for my XP-7. I have tried carrying the XP-7 around a bunch of different ways from using pockets in messenger type side bags to various camera bags to pocketed vests to the type of semi open tool bags electricians and carpenters use.
One of the main problems with all of these is that there is no provision for routing the wiring and lack of protection.

Even in a padded bag, I found the everything moved around a lot everytime the bag moved. This seemed to me to put a lot of stress on the jacks and connecters as they also tend to move with the bag. With bags with large pockets, in front, say a messenger or a Domke camera bag with typically two large front pockets, the amp didn't fit well because it's amazingly fat. Even after you stuffed it in, it was difficult to connect the cables without making some fairly tight angles which is bad for the cable. Access to the controls were extremely difficult.

You really appreciate the excellent design features of the Traveller on the road especially when you don't want to mess with wires getting disconnected and jacks loosening as they do when things aren't held down. Ample storage for just about everything I need to take with even some to spare.

I am using a PCD player and the player compartment gives great security and quick access when you need to change your music. Try changing a CD with the player inside a regular bag.

There will be room for the AC adapter as the XP-7 is not as long as a Cosmic /Supreme.

The only annoyance with the XP-7/Traveller combo is that the on/off switch on the XP-7 is on the back of the amp and you have to unzip the bottom compartment everytime you turn it off or on.

bobjew!
I never assumed the XP-7 is as small as it is! It's only half the size of a cosmic! If I put it in the main compartment, it fills only half of the entire case and there's a ton of useful room in the back. I've decided to put it in the padded PCD space and it fits great! The traveller is just so versatile!
I've tossed my UE5c Aluminum case in the middle with my mini iPod and it's a perfect fit!
