Nah. AKM is better. Sick of ESS and their “monopoly”. I don’t prefer the brighter sound of ESS DACs.

There is switch on back so you can overcome battery if you want - good option when using for example with PC because battery is no drained.

Hi, joining the discussion regarding batteries. What do you guys think to charge this beast with. Will a linear power supply with the right parameters (12V/2A) be ok, or will I need a separate 12V charger and a 12V power supply (if we want to bypass the batteries)?

I'm wondering in advance what would have to be bought for this because it seems that the manufacturer does not include any charger.
