Omg i thought it would be fast, but was expecting this after Xmas but when i came home its on my table! Goshhhhh
When did you order it? Last I thought from your postings you were considering this to upgrade or replace a Benjie S5 or K9?

Regardless, congratulations on super quick shipping. You'll have a nice Xmas toy now. Should only take a few minutes to install RockBox. Probably will take longer to find the files online and xfer them to a SD card than to do the actual upgrade.

The guy who did the RockBox port made it dual boot. So you always have the option to go back to the original firmware to get functionality that RockBox doesn't support or doesn't do as well such as sampling sizes of 24 bits getting internally processed as 16 bit. So you're pretty much covered regardless.

The only issue is that I do rather miss album art. But the player has a decent interface and displays a reasonable amount of info so its very usable just not particularly pretty. Mostly all metal, decent battery life. I think you'll be happy with it. I know I'm a bit surprised how much I like mine.

FYI, other than the plastic screen protector, it's 100% aluminum including the buttons and switches (which are also aluminum). The thing is built like a tank!

Does anybody has tested T6 and Xduoo X3? What are their sound similarities and differences? Which is better for complex music?

Is there any better budget DAP than X3 which includes FM radio?

The price difference is 19 eur now. X3 costs 56 eur on Ali, and T6 37 eur on Ebay.

Was there a battery test program for the x3? I saw one when I was browsing around a couple weeks ago, but can’t find it again for some reason

I can’t tell if it’s just me, but my battery seems a little wonky

Hum, looking for cheap used DAP on Ebay I fall on LOT of (new) Xduoo X3 that sell for around 65$ (free shipping from china)....look like there a big price drop due to hardcore competition between chinese shop on Ebay.

Just sayin.

At this price X3 is a supreme no brainer.

One exemple among others:

That's definitely fantastic price. Thinking about getting one to double the reserve.

hehe....was thinking that too...but i must stop impulsive buy....kind of crazy now. Looking at Ibasso X7 used...I think there too much production in chifi DAP right now, and its really a good time to find incredible value in used market or refurbished one....not rare to find it at 50% of normal price. Opus 1 is another exemple in supreme price drop.

Here its a Xduoo X2 at 32$:

Here a X10 at 105$ (other shop have this price too, so its easy to find):

Xduoo Xd05 can be find for 150$ too....wich is an incredible price for such a wonderfull DAC-AMP. Listen to it right now and can't beleive all option it have, it even have 5 sounds filter as well as 3 amp gain and a bass gain. Can be use with OTG too...its very a marvelous device! Opamp are easily changable too. Optical in work great as well.

Don't forget to factor in the import tax at your own country's end of things.

In the UK where I am, anything over a total ( including shipping ) value of £17 is subject to import 'duty'. That's the main reason I only ever buy stuff from China that costs less than that. I know some people have reported getting expensive items from China without having to pay the tax, but that's just very good luck, on their part.

Hum, I never pay import tax. Only exception is when shipping used is focking DHL (Douche from Hell (de)Livery). Even with stuff under 20$ I always have to pay 25$ to have the package take as an hostage. When I use Canada post, customs never happen....even for my Ibasso DX90 at 400cad....no customs charge.
