I tried for a few minutes and like the sound quality. But I can't find any equalizer which is available on X2. I still choose X2 since I need EQ :frowning2:

Will it play FLAC files gapless?

How is the UI? As bad as X2?

    1) No (for now).
    2) Yes (for now).

The control SW is always the downfall of these small companies, that's even true of a bigger company like FiiO. At least the chip on the X3 should be capable of running Rockbox - if xduoo were smart they'd send a couple of samples and some basic firmware docs to suitable Rockbox devs and see what happens.

Got mine from my countries official Xduoo distrubtor.
And I can say it's fantastic for 100 bucks! Play almost everything with high power without any obvious coloration.
See it's actual pics in my hp review website

No mention of EQ settings that I have seen.
Is there an EQ or at least a bass boost?
  12. Tamirci

No mention is natural :) Because there is no EQ. Just gain and roll of speed setting
  13. r2muchstuff

That is what I was thinking.

Great it sounds like a good neutral sounding player ..have you tried it with any dsd files?
  15. Tamirci

It can play dsd64 sadly. I hope a firmware will fix it :)
