Lightning to usb c is included and offers the whole package. 3.5mm will work but in line in mode only, thus bypassing gryphon's DAC

Hi guys.

I'm looking for some cable for connecting iPhone 13 Pro with iFi Gryphon. What is best solution for connect? Lighting to 3.5mm or Lighting to USB-c? Is it even possible to connect with USB-c?

lightning->usb-c, for sure. you paid $600 for a dac/amp combo, why would you bypass the dac in favor of a $10 dac built-in to the lightning cable?

Oh, I forgot that I have this cable in box :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. Thanks. But it's very short, I need to order something longer (about 1.5-2m). Is it necessary for cable to have MFI certificate?

Hi everyone

I'm considering the Gryphon but nervous due to the 4.4 issues

Has IFI made any official statement yet on the issues?

I had the same issues with my last IFI product I owned so don't want to experience the same again.

Thanks
@iFi audio Could you please comment on the issues users are experiencing with the 4.4mm balanced HP output in this thread.

I am a potential purchaser but do not want to buy this device if there are known issues with the device.

From what I gather it is a small number that has been affected although understand concerns if buying. I've had no issue with my unit, regularly disconnect/connect to the 4.4mm using Senn Ie900 and no issues as of yet.

I use the 4.4mm with my Sennheiser HD-660S as well as my Focal Uptopias, SendyAudio Aiva, and SendyAudio Peacock. So far, no issues whatsoever.
