Just a little heads-up for anyone who is experiencing the wobbly, rattly button issue, if you want you can tighten this screw a 1/4 turn but don't overtighten it
It's just an ordinary hex key, correct?

safer to hold off on the gryphon right now? i have been catching up on all the pages to now
It's perfectly safe, just get to know the potential quirks and avoid them.

1. Always check volume level before hitting play.

2. Don't leave your Gryphon on low battery for days on end. If you must keep it packed up, give it a charge then switch it off.

As the FW matures these issues should be fully resolved, and you don't have to wait for it to enjoy it now.

When connected to PC via USB I've got no battery saver icon or indication and battery just charges to max. I wish I could be sure it's not just maxing out the battery. I'm using the 1 cable for data/charge option.

Same here. Short press on the main button/wheel does not mute and unmute like the documentation states (I’m using bluetooth btw).
Just updated the Bluetooth firmware.
The issue is fixed after that.

So update bt as well, mate.

****WARNING**** - Be careful fellow Gryphon owners to check the state of charge frequently just in case this isn't an isolated incident.

I took the battery out and tried to bench charge it, via its output terminals, that won't work either as I found out.

Please don't take this the wrong way, and I'm sure you're great with the tools and all, but I don't understand why you'd pull your Gryphon apart and void the warranty for a battery issue that the vendor would likely either RMA, or refund your 600quid?

We are *always* happy to provide battery service whether someone's unit is in warranty or not. There will never be a case of us not being happy to work with folks on that.
... and here is the vendor confirming their willingness to address any such battery issues.

Anyway, this battery issue has put a small shadow of doubt in my mind with Gryphon, as I would likely leave it for a week or more without using it. That said, I do appreciate the vendor quickly acknowledging this charging problem and offering to make good to any customer affected..

That's correct, we service batteries even for our discontinued products and as long we have them in stock we'll keep on doing that :)

Glad to hear it! I went to do this but the instructions state that it can only be done via an Android device. I only have Macs and iOS/iPadOS devices, has anyone identified a method for updating the Bluetooth firmware from Mac/iPhone/iPad?
