Hey Xbox-ers,

Are you getting Knights of the Old Republic?

I picked mine up on Thursday and I'm about 11 hours in. It's pretty damn good.

My character is a scoundrel.

So, anyone else get it?

ok maybe i'm a little overboard but here's my situation:

I AM BUYING AN XBOX TOMMORROW FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF PLAYING KOTOR!

honestly i really wanted to buy KOTOR for PC, then they delayed it til October. I was calculating how much i was going to spend on PC upgrades when i get KOTOR for pc, and buying an xbox was actually going to be cheaper, plus i could play it now instead of october.

so here i am buying an xbox JUST to play this game. thats how much i want it.

oh man this game rox....i suck tho, i'm doing every single side quest i find so im soooooo slow.

Right now i've played for maybe 7-8 hours total, but i've only just begun snooping on the Lower Levels of Tebetha or whatever. I still have yet to find that Jedi leader lady.

I have a cool Scout class character who specializes in Melee Combat and persuasion (even tho its an out of class skill

).

He's a total goodie two shoes, running around saving good ppl by paying off their bounty debts or whatever. I'm pretty well on my way to the light side.

Next character i want to make is a total dark side Soldier Class range fighter.

I'm over 20 hours in and it is awesome (combat is getting hard). Character is a scoundrel who has yo-yo'd from light to dark and back to light again.

I’m not going to list any spoilers, but the character story for your lead will flesh out after about 15 hours or so. Very cool plot at that point.

Enjoy.

[edit] Just wait until you get force powers.

I'm getting KOTOR as soon as it's out for PC. I thought about buying an Xbox, but I already have a PS2 (Gran Turismo, addictive) and a good PC that will handle the game easily so $230 for a largely redundant purchase is just tooo much.

SImilarly to above, I have a pretty hot dedicated gaming PC, so can't justify Xbox.

BUT, I am uber-curious about Knights, and also Halo

.

Sounds like your having a blast with it, Sol.

oh man so fun, but you guys go wayyyyy faster than me, lol i guess i am a sucker for side quests.

anyway does anybody know of a site that has walkthrough help? i'm really stuck at this one point on Tatooine and i have no idea what to do. I'm trying to find a peaceful solution to something but its not working, and when i try the violent route, i die immediately for some reason.
