Hey Ya'll!

It's been a while! After 4 years, my A3's are starting to get beat up a little (they still sound very nice!).

I am stuck between these two new options... the Fearless S8F (which, I could potentially get for $400).... or the FiiO FH7 ($450).

I really like bass that you can feel, but it has to be textured with low-end and mid-bass. I really love Seperation, Soundstage, and Sparkling Highs too.

What would you get for a noticeable upgrade? Fearless S8F (cheaper, excellent condition) or FiiO FH7 (New, on Amazon)

The DAC I will be using is: Topping NX4 DSD

I auditioned with FH7 before, I am not satisfied with the bass. I think the FH5 has a better bass.

I'd recommend maybe the Tanchjim Oxygen. Nice upgrade from the Sony you have IMO.

I was able to get the S8F, in Excellent Condition, with a Custom Faceplate... for $400. I couldn't pass it up.

Fearless S8F + Topping NX4 DSD should be a solid Mid-Range HiFi set-up. Correct?

I think it has a very good depth. Horizontal wise is average but not congested.

The FH5 is really good overall. It has a short nozzle though so make sure to try them if you can first.
